Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and the ideal candidate will preferably have GCSE’s in English, Maths and IT. A good telephone manner is also desirable but what we are looking for more than anything are ideas and enthusiasm for this fast-moving new-media industry.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Creating reports using both proprietary web based tools and Excel.
  • Implementing link-building strategies for a number of major clients.
  • Using emerging online techniques to promote a clients brand and/or products.
  • Direct contact with site owners for the purpose of acquiring links.

Candidates for the role will preferably:

  • Be able to show a keen interest in the Internet and emerging online methods such as online forums, blogs and social bookmarking.
  • Have GCSE grades A-C in England, Maths and IT (or similar subject) as well as having attention to detail.
  • Have a good telephone manner, with call centre / customer service experience being an advantage.
  • Be willing to put forward new ideas and be able to adapt to changing methods and practices in a fast-moving industry.

There is a wide scope for personal development as well as opportunities to learn new skills and practices.
