The Digital Marketing Bid Manager will responsible for creating compelling, well-structured and intelligent responses to briefs received by the agency. He/she will have direct responsibility for crafting well considered and compelling pitch and proposal documents in conjunction with the sales and client services team and will have significant exposure to the Senior Executive team. The role would suit someone who is currently a digital marketer within an agency or client side and has a flair for the written word, strong creative and numerical skills. In addition you will have an innate ability to understand prospective client’s business model and pain points.
The role will include:
- Review of all Requests for Proposals and project managing the response/pitch team
- Working closely with both Sales and Client Services to ensure the brief is fully defined and understood
- Helping define our proposed digital marketing strategy for the prospect/client which will include; spend levels across services, creative concepts and fee structure
- Creation of all supporting materials including PowerPoint presentations and written proposals/response to brief
- Costing of all proposals
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The following skills are considered essential to the role:
- A good working knowledge of our core services – SEO, PPC, Social media, PR and design and development.
- Creative skills. You don’t need to be a designer but you do need to be able to create a visually compelling pitch presentation
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Highly organized with careful attention to detail and excellent planning and priority setting skills.
- Demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done.
- A confident self-starter
- Client side experience would be an advantage
Reporting Lines
The Digital Marketing Bid Manager will report directly to the Head of Insight and work closely with his team as well as the sales team.
