As part of the Design & Development team, you will be used to producing high-quality Web solutions, be it for external client projects or internal web based tools.
Working on projects for some of the biggest household names online, your role role will involve:
- Building online solutions with LAMP and well-structured front-end mark-up
- Interpreting client briefs to deliver technical specifications
- Defining server requirements for new client projects
- Mentoring more junior staff on web development best practice
- Providing support on general web development projects where required
Candidates for the role will preferably have:
- A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in producing high quality results with LAMP
- Excellent front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with hosting and cloud hosting
- Experience in parsing 3rd party feeds (e.g. XML)
- Exposure to open-source CMS solutions, such as WordPress
- Interest and knowledge in emerging technologies
- A proactive approach to work
- An ability to work to tight deadlines
- IT related qualifications or equivalent commercial experience is preferred
