We’ve been very much in the Christmas spirit this December, with desk-decorating contests, Christmas fuddles and of course, a Christmas jumper competition. Even Santa and his helper dropped by.
We started December with a challenge to all of our departments to brighten up their desks, and our teams didn’t disappoint. There were some superb efforts from all but the title eventually, after some extensive deliberations, went to the Sales and Marketing teams for their £1 shop inspired explosion of colour.

We followed that up with our Christmas fuddle, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We even had snowball drinks!

We’ve also been doing our bit for charity, supporting the Gift for Granny campaign for 2014. Gift for Granny is designed to support residents of local care homes, by providing a gift to an elderly relative who may otherwise have not received one this Christmas. The charity also focuses on providing some support and companionship at this very special time, with Coronation Street’s Alan Hassall (better known as Tyrone) and Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher, dropping off our surprises.

And finally, we did our part in making the world a ‘sweater’ place this Christmas, taking part in National Christmas Jumper Day.
Sophie Hazan, with her special home-made effort, took the gong for best jumper.
