Due to the growth and development of our Marketing Communications team, we’re now looking for an experienced editorial assistant to help manage our content requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating and managing the ordering and delivery of content from external sources
  • Growing and developing our database of freelance writers
  • Building effective relationships with other departments to understand and fulfil their content requirements
  • Ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget
  • Negotiating costs and finding ways to improve commercial efficiencies
  • Supporting on content tasks for projects when required – writing, proofing and editing copy
  • Working across multiple projects and ensuring all parties are informed of progress
  • Supporting the Head of Earned Marketing Communications and team managers to plan monthly and weekly workflow
  • Developing detailed project plans and timelines where necessary
  • Supporting the senior team in setting up the admin required for new projects – e.g. installing folders, building content plans etc
  • Working with the Head of Earned Marketing Communications to plan and manage costs for projects
  • Measuring the team’s performance in project delivery, using timesheet systems

What you’ll need

  • 2 years’ relevant experience, ideally within a project management role
  • Passion for content and digital marketing
  • An excellent grasp of the English language and a head for numbers
  • Creative flair, strong organisational skills and a proactive nature
  • An ability to proof and edit English content confidently
  • Flexibility and a desire to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A second language is desirable, but not necessary
