View our open jobs View our open jobsDue to the growth and development of our Marketing Communications team, we’re now looking for an experienced editorial assistant to help manage our content requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating and managing the ordering and delivery of content from external sources
- Growing and developing our database of freelance writers
- Building effective relationships with other departments to understand and fulfil their content requirements
- Ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget
- Negotiating costs and finding ways to improve commercial efficiencies
- Supporting on content tasks for projects when required – writing, proofing and editing copy
- Working across multiple projects and ensuring all parties are informed of progress
- Supporting the Head of Earned Marketing Communications and team managers to plan monthly and weekly workflow
- Developing detailed project plans and timelines where necessary
- Supporting the senior team in setting up the admin required for new projects – e.g. installing folders, building content plans etc
- Working with the Head of Earned Marketing Communications to plan and manage costs for projects
- Measuring the team’s performance in project delivery, using timesheet systems
What you’ll need
- 2 years’ relevant experience, ideally within a project management role
- Passion for content and digital marketing
- An excellent grasp of the English language and a head for numbers
- Creative flair, strong organisational skills and a proactive nature
- An ability to proof and edit English content confidently
- Flexibility and a desire to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A second language is desirable, but not necessary
