The Business Development Executive will proactively hunt for new business via phone, social media, LinkedIn, email and face-to-face meetings, employing a balanced contact plan to generate and develop prospects.

The Business Development Executive will proactively hunt for new business via phone, social media, LinkedIn, email and face-to-face meetings, employing a balanced contact plan to generate and develop prospects.

You’ll also be the first point of contact with prospective clients who are engaging with Stickyeyes content & marketing material.

What you'll be doing:

  • Generating meetings with prospective clients through developing relationships with key decision makers
  • Use your initiative (as well as our proprietary in-house lead generation tools) to source new opportunities
  • Playing a key role in the creation and implementation of Stickyeyes’ ongoing sales strategy
  • Evaluating client needs for digital marketing services
  • Data building – mapping target organisations for specific marketing projects
  • Working with sales and marketing teams to create bespoke contact plans for target organisations
  • Creating sales content and collateral in line with identified contact plan
  • Attaining a detailed understanding of our suite of services
  • Daily use of our CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Co-operate effectively with all other teams involved in the business development process
  • Reporting of outbound activities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends

What you'll need:

  • Tenacity and resilience – you’ll relish the challenge of tracking down people that are difficult to get hold of and closing meetings with them
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done
  • A confident self-starter with a demonstrable passion for digital who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
