Due to continued growth, Stickyeyes are looking for a hard working Back End Developer to help craft amazing digital experiences for a wide range of global clients.

As part of our award winning Design & Development team, you’ll be comfortable producing high-quality web solutions, anything from simple single page campaigns through to massive multi-page E-commerce sites.

We’re not looking for a run-of-the-mill developer who sits quietly and churns out the same code day after day, we’re looking for a passionate individual who will constantly be trying new approaches – someone who can contribute to concept discussions by bringing fresh ideas to the table, before creating digital experiences that not only perform well, but also address the challenge at hand.

We’re looking for a perfectionist; someone who takes great pride in even the smallest details of their work and who can demonstrate the ability to create efficient and innovative code.

What you'll be doing:

• Creation of innovative online solutions using LAMP, for huge global brands
• Assisting in delivering technical specifications for new website projects
• Estimating timescales for technical deliverables
• Defining server requirements for new website projects and liaising with our hosting provider
• Attend creative ideation sessions and contribute technologically innovative ideas

What you'll need:

• A genuine passion for digital, total love for the work you do and, crucially, the hunger to continually improve.
• Experience in producing high quality results with LAMP stack technologies (PHP, Apache, MySQL)
• An appreciation of front end development process and technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
• Good understanding of client side scripting languages and frameworks (jQuery)
• Experience with WordPress and Magento open-source CMS solutions
• An interest in emerging technologies that borders on unhealthy
• The ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple and easy to understand way
• An appreciation of the finer points of ping-pong!
