Senior PHP Developer, Leeds

As a Senior Developer, you will have experience working in PHP, MySQL, Linux, Zend (and other) frameworks and Cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services.

Your core duties will include supporting the Head of Technical Development in producing specification documentation and undertaking the build process, either in isolation or part of a team, of primarily internal web-based tools which process extremely large datasets. The role is suited to someone with a keen interest in search marketing, systems development and big data.

What you'll need:

• A proven record of producing high quality applications
• Skilled in PHP 5.0, Apache, Linux, Zend, MySQL, XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• A strong understanding of general web and development standards
• Experience with version control systems (SVN, GIT) and cloud technologies (AWS)
• IT related degree or equivalent commercial experience is preferred
• Be able to work well within a team
• Proactive approach to work
• Ability to meet deadlines
• A keen interest in search marketing, systems development and big data
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel, and Atlassian software, predominantly JIRA, would be deemed beneficial
