As a Senior SEO Executive, you will have a good knowledge and understanding of the SEO industry, best-practices and the fundamental requirements in ensuring strong SEO performance. You will be predominantly responsible for a number of analytical, reporting and technical tasks across a portfolio of the business’ SEO clients.
Your core duties will include supporting all key SEO deliverables for a number of SEO leads and SEO managers across their various accounts, ensuring that all associated work is delivered on time and to our client’s high-quality standard.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the wider SEO team to service a breadth of client accounts
- Helping to identify, raise and solve client issues/problems
- Providing/supporting on-site technical SEO expertise and solutions are robust
- Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly client reports
- Analysis of key data and providing insights / statistical analysis
- Performing keyword research & opportunity analysis
- Managing client’s backlink profiles
- Supporting content and meta data optimisation and/or creation
- Supporting on ad-hoc SEO tasks and providing client support where necessary
- Identifying, highlighting & proposing key growth opportunities for assigned clients
- Support on developing new SEO business opportunities
- Help raise newly identified sales opportunities to the lead-gen and sales teams
- Contribute to external & internal thought leadership & marketing initiatives
- Ensuring both team and project deadlines are met
- Engaging with the team to ensure knowledge and best practice is shared
- Working to and enforcing best industry practices
- Any other duties as deemed fit by the business
Requirements
- A keen interest in SEO and digital marketing
- A strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and best-practices
- A proven record of working within the SEO industry
- An understanding of basic website markup (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
- An understanding of general web and development standards
- Marketing or computing related degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Be able to work well within a team
- Proactive approach to work
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- The ability to use Excel and key formulas to a competent level
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate well with others
