Our content team is growing and we’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Healthcare Writer to join our team. Passion is essential in this role, as is attention to detail and flexibility.

You’ll be a seasoned wordsmith, who can turn their hand to various content types and niches with ease.

You’ll take responsibility for running specified accounts, briefing in other writers and ensuring smooth delivery.

As we champion an integrated approach, you’ll work closely with other departments to produce content that considers other disciplines such as video, design and SEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Generating content of various kinds – commercial, informational, engaging, offsite etc - across some of our larger client accounts
  • Creating content for various B2B and B2C clients, with the ability to manage different styles and TOVs – having a strong creative flair enabling us to do this on some of the more challenging areas such as health, legal or financial services
  • Leading on specified accounts – owning content delivery
  • Holding ultimate responsibility for the content produced – from brief right through to delivery
  • Reviewing and proof-reading content to ensure our output meets quality requirements. Editing and improving existing content, highlighting areas for development and improving the copy
  • Auditing existing client’s content and offering recommendations
  • Working with external stakeholders to help contribute to our content – including bloggers and experts
  • Working closely with other operational teams, encouraging communication & collaboration
  • Attending client meetings and supporting on prep where necessary
  • Regularly reviewing our content to measure how it’s performing and how we can take learnings from this to develop and improve it in the future
  • Supporting senior team members or the Solutions team on new business requirements and strategic content recommendations – coming up with ideas, and creating pitch content
  • Leading ideation sessions and developing content ideas where required
  • Helping to develop and support more junior team members to help develop their writing skills

Requirements:

  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years content experience (where possible, NCTJ trained).
  • Ability to write well for a range of sectors and audiences - with extensive experience of delivering content for leading healthcare and/or pharma brands.
  • Professional proof-reading experience and the ability to evaluate content effectively.
  • A good understanding of the impact of content on user experience.
  • A flexible individual, comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced environment and communicating at all levels.
  • A passion for content marketing is essential, as is your willingness to immerse yourself in client campaigns.
