Best British Bloggers, our blogger engagement team, has launched a campaign to help raise awareness for The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

Starting this month Best British Bloggers will task our network of bloggers to complete The Online Mile, consisting of a number of promotional tasks in order to raise awareness for Sport Relief.

To complete The Online Mile, bloggers will have to:

  • Write a blog post on Sport Relief
  • Share it through their social media channels
  • Host a blogger blackout on Friday 23rd March
  • Inspire someone else to do either The Online Mile or The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile

Best British Bloggers will be providing those who complete The Online Mile with an exclusive badge to display on their blogs, letting their readers know they helped raise awareness of the good work Sport Relief do helping change lives at home here in the UK, and in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The blogger blackout will take place on Friday 23rd March - the Sport Relief: Night of TV. Bloggers will dedicate their usual blog post day to Sport Relief by hosting a link through to the Sport Relief giving page.

Jess Wilkinson, Head of Best British Bloggers, comments:

"A member of our team has signed up to run the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile, so we were inspired to help such a great cause. We identified an area we could provide expertise and resource to the busy team at Sport Relief HQ and The Online Mile was a campaign that fit perfectly. Response so far has been fantastic, we are confident it will continue to grow.”
