The Stickyeyes team powered joined more than 20 teams and 400 other fundraisers and took to the water to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
The Stickyeyes team, donning fancy dress from the Disney hit ‘The Little Mermaid’, put in a sterling effort throughout the day. The team paddled their way through the heats with the fastest time of the day at 60.63 seconds, making it through to the finals.

Up against strong competition, the Stickyeyes team finished an impressive eighth place overall but the real winner was Martin House, which raised an estimated £30,000 from the event.

The funds will go towards providing care for children with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.
Stickyeyes’ entry in the Dragon Boat Race was the latest in a number of Stickyeyes events in support of the charity. Stickyeyes staff have previously raised thousands of pounds taking part in events including the Leeds Abbey Dash and various cooking competitions.
