A newly created role within the business, you will be providing administrative support across the whole of the organisation, ensuring the smooth running of the office. 

This is a highly visible role in the business and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable managing multiple tasks at any one time and be an excellent communicator.  The role would suit a person looking to be an office manager in the future and being an integral cog in the efficient running of the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Booking and preparing meeting rooms
  • Managing and maintaining the kitchen facilities ensuring that it is fully-stocked and well presented
  • Manage and maintain facilities log and carry out weekly sweeps to ensure requirements are being met and the business is presented appropriately.
  • Manage and maintain stock
  • Assisting in the organisation and co-ordination of meetings and events
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of post within the business
  • Greeting guests and clients and being a key first point of contact
  • Answering calls in an efficient and professional manner
  • Working with HR on various well-being initiatives
  • Provide support in arranging travel and accommodation
  • On request administrative support across the whole business
  • Offering feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements
  • In the absence of our Receptionist, provide cover, including post, couriers, escorting and signing in visitors
  • You will also be working towards an apprenticeship as part of this role and activities will therefore need to be tailored to achieving your qualification

What you will need:

  • A good level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and email (Outlook)
  • Orgainised and can demonstrate high levels of attention to detail
  • Can do attitude and a willingness to learn, develop and progress
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a number of tasks at any one time
  • An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and the capacity to build relationships at all levels
  • To be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Health and Safety knowledge or experience a plus but full training will be given
  • First Aid trained would be ideal but again full training will be given
  • Math’s and English GCSE’s at C Grade or above
