Due to the continued growth of the business, we have created an exciting new role for a Media Planner / Buyer who will take responsibility for the efficient planning and buying of our Media campaigns to effectively promote our clients content.

You’ll need a detailed understanding of online channels, how the media market functions, plus strong negotiation skills. The fact that this is a newly created role in a growing team within the business means there is considerable scope to help shape and grow our offering and progress your career.

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan, develop, deploy and measure media campaigns to achieve the best results in line with our clients objectives
  • Liaise with media partners to develop and foster long-term relationships and negotiate campaign costs
  • Maintaining media plans including changes, budgeting, execution, reporting and invoice reconciliation
  • Exploring non-standard digital channels for each individual client campaign to ensure that content is promoted to the widest possible audience
  • Working with the team to ensure that all media plans are properly maintained and distributed
  • Gather and analyse data to determine client’s media needs
  • Presenting results to both internal teams and clients and making recommendations for enhanced performance
  • Keeping abreast of emerging trends and developments within all relevant channels and explore potential new and innovative routes to market

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years online media planning / buying, implementation and optimisation experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to articulate data-driven results to clients
  • Proficient in the use of standard online media research and planning tools
  • Knowledge of content distribution networks such as Taboola and Outbrain would be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with internal teams and external clients
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage, organise and prioritise multiple projects
