Reporting to the Biddable Media Director, this role will assume responsibility for the agencies biddable media activity (excluding programmatic). We are looking for an experienced Paid Search professional who has a real passion for all things biddable and digital to join our rapidly expanding team.

You will lead and inspire a team of Managers, Leads and Executives, overseeing all operations relating to client success and delivery as well as staff development, ultimately helping to develop our proposition, delivering world-class solutions that drive our clients’ results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing proactive strategies for all biddable media campaigns
  • Identifying areas of opportunity for existing agency clients and presenting a proposed strategy to take maximum advantage of it
  • Developing a deep understanding of all our client business needs, proactively maximising the value clients receive from their existing investments within biddable media while identifying growth & performance opportunities of both agency and client benefit
  • Collaborating on departmental strategy documentation, process documents, development plans and any marketing promotional material deemed required by the business
  • Day-to-day management of the Paid Search team output and performance
  • Supporting the Biddable Media Director with the preparation of detailed presentations and proposals
  • Mentoring team members and developing a culture of excellence and ownership
  • Managing the progression and development of team members, including identifying training needs and organisation of regular personal development plan sessions and annual appraisals
  • Interpreting client reports and delivering cohesive and structured reports to the client
  • Preparing ROI data, analysing, interpreting and implementing refinements
  • Performing client reviews and scoping new opportunities to improve, or upsell our services
  • Acting as the senior point of contact for our clients and as a liaison between internal teams
  • Maintaining positive and influential relationships with clients, both face-to-face and via other channels of communication
  • Implementing strategies within the wider search marketing offering
  • Sourcing and maintaining third party relationships with suppliers of biddable media services (namely Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and LinkedIn).
  • Drive a strong thought leadership proposition
  • Out of hours communication may be required due to client request
  • Any other duties as deemed fit by the business

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a biddable media environment, managing large-scale, complex, results-driven projects with significant budgets, preferably within an agency environment
  • 2+ years’ people management experience
  • The ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels, both internally and externally
  • A leadership style that will motivate, inspire and develop members of the team
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party bid management and reporting suites across search, social and specialist reporting suites is very beneficial
  • Working knowledge across multiple biddable media platforms, including Google, MSN, YouTube and Facebook. working knowledge of advertising on Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest and Spotify, would be advantageous
  • Robust numerical and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrable passion for all things digital – keeping abreast of key industry trends and a hunger for innovation
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with strong project management and organisational skills
  • Highly proficient user of MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
