The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience writing for a variety of B2B and B2C clients, across industries as diverse as health, fitness, lifestyle, finance and travel.

You’ll live and breathe the written word, be a perfectionist when it comes to the detail, and have a creative flair enabling you to produce the right content for the right moment for your audience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Researching, writing, creating and editing compelling content for a wide range of digital marketing communications, online and offline
  • Briefing in and reviewing the content of other writers (internal and freelance), as required
  • Supporting the Writing Team Lead, by helping with the planning and workflow of client work
  • Attending and participating in client meetings, such as immersion sessions, as required
  • Challenging what we do and why
  • Spending time researching brands and spotting opportunities
  • Communicating with and working closely with other delivery teams, particularly PR, Social Media and SEO
  • Working with our senior strategic teams to make recommendations on content marketing for clients and prospects
  • Mentoring and supporting more junior content team members to develop their content skills and expertise
  • Working with more senior team members to gather data & insights
  • Monitoring content trends and relevant industry news to ensure our approach is up-to-date
  • Planning ahead, by managing your workflow

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 3+ years content marketing experience (ideally you’ll be NCTJ trained)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns for brands
  • Experience writing well for a range of sectors and audiences, taking into account tone of voice and brand guidelines
  • Ideally, you’ll have Consumer Finance writing experience
  • Understanding of how the different types of content impact user experience
  • Excellent grasp of the English language and ability to proof-read and evaluate content effectively
  • Creativity for campaign work, when we need out-of-the box ideas that match an account’s objectives
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness, so you can evaluate and measure the success of a project
  • To be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A passion for content marketing, as we’ll need you to be ready to immerse yourself in client work
  • A good understanding of the current digital landscape, and an enquiring mind that’s keen to monitor new trends
