This was our third year of entering the Abbey Dash 10K road race, which sees around 10,000 runners race from Leeds to the historic Kirkstall Abbey, before turning around and heading back to the city centre.

And the Stickyeyes team started the morning in familiar surroundings as, in a change for 2013, the event started outside our offices on Wellington Street. The finish line, as ever, was outside Leeds Town Hall on The Headrow.

There were some fantastic times posted, with Jamie Shields leading the team with a chip time of 41:00 dead, with client services director Simon Allen just behind with a time of 44:02. Homer Simpson also made an appearance, completing the course in 1:02:39.

The event also helped us to raise more than £200 for our chosen charity, Leeds Mind, which supports people with mental health issues in the Leeds area.
